Does CarChart work without an account? +

Yes — once installed, it just works. No login, no setup. We don't track who you are; we just need to see the auction page you're already looking at to overlay data.

How accurate are the predictions? +

For models with rich comp data (most enthusiast cars), predictions land within ±5% of hammer about 80% of the time. We always show a confidence score so you know when to trust it less.

Where does the data come from? +

Public auction results from Bring a Trailer and Cars & Bids. We continuously index new sales, and predictions update as the market shifts.
